I had the honour of reading Ceekee, The Mermaid Cop before the publication date as an ARC and I loved it. The story is sweet and kind with a moral behind it.
The young author’s imagination brought us the sweet mermaid cop in such a delightful story. Along with the vivid illustrations it is an absolute charmer.
When Lynsie has her bag stolen from the beach she looks to her friend Ceekee to help her find it. The culprit is soon located and is sorry for what he has done. The story nicely turns into forgiveness. A valuable lesson for us all.
Overall, Shelly Pearl has created something that will attract the hearts and minds of all children. The concept is simple and captivating. I’m sure it will be adored by all youngsters and even their parents!
