Where did the idea for the story come from?

Boomer is a combination of seeing a friend’s small picture of a tiny bunny in the forest, and I thought there was a story there. Then, a year later, I was playing outside with my grandson, having fun with our imagination, and by the time we were finished, I knew what the story would be. My grandson helped me name the bunny.

Give a quote from the books, one that says little but speaks volumes.

“Boomer, the curious bunny, went down the path to see what he could see.”

Give a short summary of what the book is about.

Boomer is a curious bunny who always sees runners going down a path and decides to see what he can see. It is a delightful adventure that takes him to many new places and things to see. Boomer eventually misses home and must remember all his steps to find his way home. That night, safely in bed, Boomer wonders if he goes down another path that he would see.

  • Readers will enjoy reading the story to their loved ones because the story:
  • Leads to talking about curiosity
  • Makes the children laugh
  • Has a repeated phrase that children love to say.

The illustrations make the story come alive.
