In November I gave two talks in my local community. It was to share the love I have for reading and books in general. They were well received and I hope to do more in the future.
On each occasion I asked for book recommendations, both to share with the WI and the U3A, and on my website. I passed a clipboard around with the latter, but unfortunately, when it came back, some of the handwriting was impossible to read.
I managed to read most of them and the result is a wonderfully eclectic mix of fiction, non-fiction, old, and new books.
If you find one or two that you’d like to read, or have read any in the list. Do let me know.
I’m going to add Then She Was Gone by Lisa Jewel and The Wish by Nicholas Sparkes to my TBR list.
A great list. I love this idea. I do this when I speak at schools. Its great to see what kids are reading these days.

It is. It’s the first time I’ve done it like this and it worked really well. Everyone seems to have liked it. Thanks for commenting.
