Crimson Frost by JP McLean

This came as a free Christmas gift in the author’s newsletter. She often sends short stories for her subscribers, all with beautiful covers. It’s a great bonus to receive them.

So when this came I assumed it was another short story, and looked forward to reading it, which I did almost immediately. It soon became clear that it wasn’t a short tale, it was a novella, shorter than an average book.

I loved it immediately, the characters were great and it was intriguing. Then all of a sudden there was an unexpected twist. This literally took the story to the next level.

At the time I thought I’m going to review it anyway even though I can’t give you a buy link. I can recommend the newsletter, but it’s since been released. So I’m really happy to say this book is now available and in Kindle Unlimited, too
