My Review
I’m not kidding, this story was like an epic masterpiece all the way through with its 399 pages. Yes, I know, it’s not like me to read that much. I’m a novella girl. But honestly, wow, just wow.
The people from the bunkers who have woken from their 200 year sleep, are now building a community. Other bunkers are doing the same, but not in the same way.
The story has multiple layers with different viewpoints, all so different and equally as fascinating.
Joanna, Charlotte, and Jack have been the main characters throughout. They are all distinctive too, their voices and goals set them apart. It reminded me of watching a epic blockbuster on the big screen. One you watch as all the details and characters play out in front of you without you having to do anything apart from observe, absorb, and enjoy.
Review of the first book and the second are here if you wish to read them.
