When The Screen Goes Blank by Stephen Simpson

My Review

What an entertaining little read this was! And I do mean little. It was just twenty pages long. Small, but perfectly formed.

Our protagonist tells the story and the screen in the title is her Kindle.

At night, when the house is quiet and you are alone in bed, everything can seem scary, especially when you reading a horror story. But what if the shadows you see are real? That couldn’t happen, could it?

A smashing little horror story that will haunt you enough to never look at your Kindle in the same way again.

I love receiving author’s newsletters. Many of them give away a free story. If you like darker stories then sign up for Stephen Simpson’s newsletter.

I’ve read a couple of his books. Generally, I’m not a lover of horror, but he’s also written poet apocalyptic stories, and you know how love those!

Book Blurb and Link

A chilling short psychological horror story about a girl whose Kindle becomes a window into a darker version of her room. Perfect for fans of modern tech horror, scary short stories, YA horror, and quiet, creeping dread.
