Don’t you just love when Amazon shows you a book on a topic you like by an author you never heard of? So I obliged and read the blurb and thought – yes! You’re right!
If you follow me, you know how I love a good apocalyptic story. Though, I must admit, the page count on this was big – but you know what? I didn’t care – the story was too good – and no slump in the middle.
I like to multi task. That means I flip between reading and listening to the audio version. What that really means is I might be too tired yet still want to read – or I crochet or do a jigsaw and listen.
The story begins with a family in a motorhome, or as the American’s call them – RVs. Mum, Dad, two teenagers and their German Shepherd were high up on one of the sky bridges, when something happens and everyone ekse finds themselves dead.
That’s a big of a bummer, isn’t it? 😂
The family’s hazardous and scary journey home begins. It was bon-crunching action!
The best thing is this book is part of a series – you know how much I love those! The next book is already lined up on my Kindle and in my audio library.
