I really enjoyed this one. Harry Grimm had been kidnapped. How dare they! He’s the main character, everybody missed him including us, the reader. Luckily, we had an insight that no one else does. We felt his frustration and saw how his mind worked to extract himself from the situation
Did his team run round like headless chickens? Did they heck! Matt took charge and soon the clues are there, they just have to put them together.
As the team lost a detective inspector in a previous book, the Hawes team are now short handed. A new guy arrived. We don’t yet know much about him as he turned up later in the story. But he’s got potential and I like him. I look forward to seeing him become part of the team.
