Over the course of a year, the children’s club of the Chasing Driftwood Writing Group were offered a prompt:
The World You Gave Us.
They were invited to write poems, stories and non-fiction based on this theme. Their responses could be real, reflecting their own thoughts, feelings, and experiences of living in the world today as a young person. Or, they could write an entirely fictional story, or poem.
From dark tales of bad and apocalyptic worlds, to optimistic pieces reflecting their love and hope for this world, this anthology has something for everyone.
