If you have read my review of the first book, I talked about the extra long sentences. I also noticed lots of repeated words this time, but you know what? It didn’t matter. That is the authors style and he tells one heck of good story.

DCI Harry Grimm is the new detective in town, and this is his second outing with his new team. Coming from the big city, there are lots of differences in how things are done. Harry relating to them only adds further interest, and much humour.

I loved the relationship Harry has with his new team and how they all related to one another. This is overall a great story, not to mention the murders and crime deduction. I loved it and there are lots and lots of books in the series. I’ll be moving onto the next one.

Available to download from Kindle Unlimited, all stories so far are under three hundred pages long. If you love procedural crime fiction, then I recommend this series to you.
