This book was presented to me on Amazon as ‘similar’ books I might like.
Well, I did. It was excellent. It is about a family, Clint, his estranged wife Daphne, and their daughter, Mika who were all in different parts of the state when the earthquake strikes.
Each person has a different chapter which tells us about how they deal with the situation they find themselves in. Just when everyone thinks the earthquake had done its worst, a tsunami arrives.
This book is an exciting read and throws all sorts of scenarios for our protagonists to deal with. I flew through the pages and it’s highly likely I’ll be reading the next one soon.
The editing was good and the story flowed making it an easy read. However, the formatting was awful. I found it off putting have blank spaces between every paragraph. Even the chapter design was unattractive.
Overall though, you get planted right into the centre of the action. That makes it an immersive read. For post apocalyptic and disaster fans this is a series to enjoy. I recommend it.
