After reading the fuel-charged prequel, I immediately moved onto this as it was an absolute must.
Edge of Collapse is fantastic. It’s 307 pages long and I read it over two days, a record for me.
I loved the grit and determination of Hannah, who against terrible odds escaped and survived her kidnapper. She thinks escape means she can return home. But she doesn’t take into account the relentless snow and bitter cold that’s determined to impede her way.
Luckily, along cones Liam. An ex solider, he is much more equipped to deal with the harsh conditions. He too, is trekking home.
Together, they attempt a journey fraught with problems. More so, because Hannah’s psychopathic captor is on their trail.
Overall, this is a stunningly clever book. The whole series holds promise and it makes me excited to begin the journey. I can’t recommend this book enough. It’s a fantastic, absorbing, and thrilling.
