I found the book on a a Facebook advertisement. The author gave half the first chapter and that sold the book to me immediately.
I enjoyed the length of 296 pages, and the short chapters. Post apocalyptic stories are something I enjoy, and I thoroughly enjoyed this one. Although it was a slow burn. I liked Matt, the main character and his family, and it was intriguing how things quickly turned bad.
Overall, this promises to be a good series. At the beginning I doubted I would read the next, but by the time I was half way through, I definitely will!
