Where did I find it: I saw an advert on Facebook and thought, wow, that looks interesting.
What I liked: I loved the concept of the story. A group of kids are away on a camping holiday. When they return to their hometown, something has gone horribly wrong. There are abandoned cars, the streets are empty, and everyone is living in fear. When we eventually find out what out happened, life then becomes terrifying for the teenagers. It’s such a great premise for a story and I thoroughly enjoyed it,
What I didn’t like: nothing to dislike. It was well-written and thoroughly absorbing,
Overall: this is the start of a new series, which is not yet published. But, what a showstopper. A new take on vampires will make a great series. Meanwhile, this is a fabulous read.
