When I was young, westerns were a big thing everywhere. I loved Cowboy and Indian films, and one of the reasons I did was for the horses. Seeing riders galloping flat out was thrilling. I could imagine the sound and the smell with the wind in my hair, as I loved to ride, too. Another reason were the Indians, their way of life, their long black hair, and many were so good looking
I wrote a blog awhile ago discussing the merits of cowboy books and films, while I reviewed a Western. It was fun to write while I relived the great and sometimes amusing memories that brought back!
Meanwhile, I will be choosing one of these books, and thought it would be good to share it with you, too.
